FAQs about TruGuard Roofing
There is no manufacturer requirement as far as temperature is concerned. Due to North Carolina’s mild climate, we’re able to install roofing materials throughout the year.
We replace all felt paper, shingles, pipe boots, necessary flashing and ridge vent systems. We also include ice and water shield around all valleys, pipe boots, dormers and chimneys. The ice and water shield is a waterproof underlayment that keeps the most common leaking areas dry and free from ice.
TruGuard may require the full use of your driveway during the course of your roofing project. We’ll also need access to an external electrical power source.
TruGuard will remove and/or replace antennas, cables, satellite dishes, cupolas and any other electronic devices to continue the scope of work contracted. We remove and reset your satellite dish and attempt to aim it in the proper direction; however, you might need to have your satellite provider recalibrate your dish.
TruGuard will protect your siding, windows, doorways, porches, decks, patios, and surrounding grounds and shrubbery with tarps and/or plywood. Due to the large amount of debris being removed, if there is a particular tree or bush that you wish to protect, please note it under “special requests” prior to the start of your project.
We are an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, which means we went through a rigorous screening and training process. Owens Corning trusts TruGuard to provide a properly installed product with great customer service.
